The steam cutter's boiler is used for distilling. Sounded in 33 fathoms. Muddy bottom. No perceptible drift. Weather clear, bright and pleasant. Light N.N.E. breezes veering to light E.N.E. breezes, with rising barometer and falling temperature. Moon 21° N. New moon
