Carpenters and engineer's force occupied in repairs to wind mill, and engineer's force, also attending to construction of pump of boiler tubes. Removed spare topsail from roof of deck house where it had served as an extra covering during the winter. Light S.E. winds backing to east as day closes. Absolutely cloudless from noon to midnight.
