Overcast. Light drizzling rain. Light breeze from N.W. At 11.45 sighted schooner "Fanny A. Hyde" in the 
offing. Sent a boat with Mr. Dunbar to pilot her in.

Clear and pleasant. Light breeze from N.W. by W. Received schooner "Fanny A. Hyde" alongside at 
1.30. Started fires under stb'd boiler. Long swell from seaward. Crew at work discharging schooner.

Light airs from N.W. At 6 shifted galley to new cook house.
