The steam cutter's boiler is used for distilling. Sounded in 32 fathoms. Mud and grey sand. A drift to W.S.W. being indicated by the lead line. Gloomy disagreeable weather with a steady fall of light snow. Fresh N.N.W. breezes with falling barometer and increasing temperature.
